Email Marketing Best Practice Guidelines

Email marketing is one of the best cost effective approaches you can take to share information to your present and  eventual clients. Some of the best email practices to generate better leads are discussed below.

Email Marketing Best Practices:

Incentives to increase open rates: When they see a marketing mail in their Inbox, most of the readers just do not open the mail or otherwise they delete it. But, the subject line should be created in an attractive manner and it should motivate them to open it. For instance, adding some incentives in the subject line can increase the chances of opening by 50%. But, here you should never exaggerate things with a view to attract subscribers to open it. It should be honest and be aware of the spam filters as well.

Logo: According to eye tracking studies, it has been found that people are looking for logo of the company, who is sending them mails on the upper left as they believe this type of mails to be reliable. Even though, this might seem to be a unimportant alteration, it will surely generate more leads.

Compelling subject line: In addition to adding some incentives in the subject line, it would be wise to make sure that the subject line is compulsive and create interest in opening it. To attract more leads, it would be wise to think about creating clever, well-thought, attractive and honest subject line.

Auto-responders for subscribers: It would be wise to ensure that whenever a new user subscribes for your newsletter by providing his mail ID, just immediately send an auto-responder thanking him for subscribing. Otherwise, there are chances that he might forget about subscribing and might opt for sending your mail to spam filter, which will turn your efforts to be a waste. Also, when sending auto-responders, you can include details about some attractive offers available for your products or services for some weeks or months to come.

Always test: Before sending away your marketing mail to the potential customers, it would be wise to test it by sending the mail to your own account with different email clients. This will be helpful to view how it appears in the Inbox of different mail services. Even, some hosting companies are providing the facility of previewing the mails before sending and this can also be the ideal option.

Hope this provides you with required principles for email marketing for a better services.
